Quick Update from Krakow (Cracow)

Hey Everyone,

So I have arrived here in Krakow and am now staying in the hostel with everyone else in the program with me. Since I am now using the group computer here at the hostel, this will be a quick post, and without pictures. My apologies.

The plane ride was pretty uneventful, but on the flight from Denver to Frankfurt, I got to sit next to someone who had been born and raised in Siberia and and moved to Denver for college. then in Frankfurt, I met up with a couple of people in the group with me (Agatha and Emily, and we were on the same flight to Krakow) and we talked and complained about how tired we were.

When we arrived in the Krakow airport, we were surprised how small it was, and immediately went to catch the train, but we did not exchange money expecting a credit card machine to be available at the station. Whoops. Fortunately though, Agatha speaks Polish, and the conductor was nice enough to let us pay in US dollars.

Also, when we got out of the train station, we had to go through a mall to get into the city. So Agatha went to go get a map, and left Emily and I with all the luggage. Then a mall security guard comes up to us and can only speak Polish and decides to take me away. I had figured it was because we looked so suspicious, but alas not. Apparently he just that we needed information, and took me to the information desk where they speak English. How nice!

Ok, time to get some breakfast.

More later!
